Sometimes, I really hate my muse.

Don’t get me wrong! I love having all of these story and character ideas…but I really tend to get them at the most inconvenient times. Usually, right when I’m in the middle of editing a really important scene for The King’s Heir, I’ll suddenly come up with an awesome idea for a new book. And, of course, I have to set aside what I’m editing and quickly write out my new idea, else it will disappear as swiftly as it came.

Not too long ago, I went through and counted all of my books. I was surprised (and a bit chagrined) when I realized that I have sixteen in the making. Sixteen! How crazy is that?! And out of that many, only two are fully completed and another two are almost finished.

I’m the world’s best multi-tasker, apparently.

My goal is to get my best books finished and published but at the rate I’m going, I’m pretty sure it’ll take me quite some time! Isn’t that what coffee’s for?

If only I was a coffee drinker…
